🇨🇭 Ski several resorts · Stay in the vineyards
Most people think you have to sleep on the slopes to ski the Alps. You don't. The Nest is a warm, freshly renovated apartment set right in the terraced vineyards of Lavaux, a UNESCO World Heritage site on the shores of Lake Geneva — and within easy reach of more ski resorts than you could cover in a week.
From your own private floor, with a balcony looking out over the lake and the Alps, you're perfectly placed to ski a different mountain every day. Some of the world's best skiing is within 45–90 minutes — Portes du Soleil, Verbier, Villars and Crans-Montana. Ski storage, free parking and EV charging make the daily run effortless.
And here's the part the resorts can't offer: the Swiss Riviera doesn't shut down in winter. While the keen skiers are on the mountain, everyone else can wander the vineyard paths, taste local wine in a candle-lit caveau, browse the famous Montreux Christmas market, explore Château de Chillon, or warm up in a thermal spa. Come evening, you're all back together — fondue on the table, a glass of something local, and the lake glittering below.
It's perfect for families who'd rather not ski all week, and for groups where some members ski while others prefer to spend the day a different way. Inside: a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with washer-dryer, fast Wi-Fi, and sleeping for up to four. Outside: snow-dusted peaks, vineyard quiet, and one of the mildest, most beautiful winter corners of Switzerland.
Skiers, wine lovers, and everyone in between — there's room for all of you here.

The Lavaux Region
From leisurely strolls through the Lavaux vineyards to challenging hikes up major Alpine peaks, the region offers trails for every level. The UNESCO vineyard trail above Lake Geneva is among the most scenic walks in Europe.
Lavaux is renowned for its vineyards, and throughout the year numerous wine festivals offer the opportunity to taste exceptional local wines — particularly the celebrated Chasselas. Many producers welcome visitors for private tastings.
The Vaud region and neighbouring Valais boast some of the world's most iconic cycling routes, offering everything from relaxed lakeside rides to serious Alpine climbs. Bike storage available at the property on request.
Whether you enjoy skiing, snowboarding, climbing or snowshoeing, the mountains offer year-round appeal. Several major ski resorts (Villars, Leysin, Les Diablerets) are within 60–90 minutes by car.
The region is rich in cultural activities and home to some of Switzerland's most famous castles, including Château de Chillon. Lausanne, Vevey and Montreux are all within 15 minutes and host world-class museums and festivals.
If you think Switzerland is just about cheese and chocolate, think again. From Michelin-starred dining in Lausanne to charming village restaurants serving local specialities, the Swiss Riviera offers exceptional food experiences.
